From order
to shipment
Sourcing and procurement of all electronic components, including long-lead or specific items. Stock management and batch traceability tracking.
PCB tooling setup, test fixture creation, assembly instruction definition. Manufacturing file validation before series launch.
SMD assembly by reflow soldering and through-hole components by wave soldering. Line equipped for BGA, QFP and power component packages.
Post-soldering AOI (automatic optical inspection), ICT (In-Circuit Test) and functional testing. No untested board leaves the workshop.
Antistatic packaging to your specifications, batch/serial labelling and shipment from Langres with full traceability.

Study + Production
You have a project or specifications. Our engineers design your board, produce prototypes, then launch production on our industrial line.
Model 02
Production only
You have a complete manufacturing file (Gerber, BOM, assembly instructions). We produce your board on our line. You retain intellectual property of your design.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum production volume at Codium?
Codium specialises in medium series, from 50 boards per year. Our industrial line is optimised for volumes of 50 to 10,000 boards per year — the SME/ETI segment that large cable manufacturers often overlook.
Can I commission production without the design study?
Yes. Codium offers a Production-only model: you provide the complete manufacturing file (Gerber files, BOM, assembly instructions) and we produce your board. You retain intellectual property of your design.
What are your production lead times?
Standard lead times are 3 to 6 weeks depending on volume and board complexity. For urgent orders, we assess expedited lead times on a case-by-case basis. Local production in France enables great reactivity.
What tests do you carry out on produced boards?
Every board goes through: visual inspection, AOI (automatic optical inspection), ICT (In-Circuit Test) and/or functional testing. No board leaves the workshop without having been tested.
